We’re hiring an Associate to operate at the center of that effort. This is an investment track role for someone who wants to build systems and relationships, with real authority, high ownership and visibility, while shaping the talent layer at e2vc.
Who You Are
• 2–5 years of experience
• Based in Istanbul
• Highly organized and structured
• Energetic in external meetings and relationship-building
• Persistent and follow-through oriented
• Interested in startups and early-stage company building
This role combines public-facing relationship building with operational rigor.

1. Talent Mapping
You will run high volume external meetings to identify and track exceptional talent across Turkey and CEE.
• Meet and build relationships with top-tier talentBuild structured profiles and maintain disciplined tracking
• Create portfolio synergies by connecting talent as founding engineers, key hires, advisors and experts
This is proactive relationship building. Not reactive recruiting.
2. Founding Engineer Program
You will build and scale our Founding Engineer Program, a structured bridge between top engineers in Turkey/CEE and our San Francisco based portfolio companies.
• Build sourcing channels across universities, communities, and networks
• Create and manage a large, high-quality engineer funnel
• Design qualification and evaluation frameworks
• Match engineers with portfolio companies at the earliest stages
• Help position and grow the program publicly
This program will be a flagship initiative. You will own it end to end and help make it known in the ecosystem.
3. Talent Operations Infrastructure
You will orchestrate and enforce structure around talent mapping internally.
• Standardize how talent is logged and categorized
• Ensure consistency and follow-through across the team
• Act as the central coordination point for talent intelligence
This requires organization, clarity, and backbone.
4. Investment Associate Work
All to build your proprietary sourcing networks and participate in investment decisions.
• Meet founders and take ownership of relationship building
• Build research, notes and internal memos
• Participate in IC discussions
• Gradually develop independent conviction
